Valentine's Day Protest in Fitchburg

Valentine's Day was a good day to protest.  Pray and Work.  This is part of the work.  The other part is to contact your congressional rep and demand that they defund Planned Parenthood. I am tired of working hard all day, and then paying tax dollars that set up shops like this, that I then have to spend my leave and vacation time fighting them.  Why can't the federal Government leave my pocket alone and let me fund the center that actually helps pregnant women: Problem Pregnancy.

Help defund Planned Parenthood (2 minutes): http://exposeplannedparenthood.com/contact-congress-now.
We are going to have to keep coming back until...

Congress stops giving Title X funding to PP.

Title X funding subsidizes Planned Parenthood enabling storefronts like this.

We will persevere.  Pray for us Our Lady of Guadalupe.

Planned Parenthood, the Parasite

By Chris Slavens: According to the propagandists of the radical left, the GOP launched a “war on women” last week when the House overwhelmingly agreed to yank Planned Parenthood’s federal funding. Democrats are accusing their political rivals of everything from forcing poor women to suffer, to attempting to shut the organization down. Of course, these are hollow lies designed to herd uninformed voters onto the liberal bandwagon, and are—like most Democratic arguments—easily disproved.

The Planned Parenthood Federation of America, commonly shortened to Planned Parenthood, is a group of eighty-five independent affiliates that provide a variety of services to women, including contraception, STD testing and treatment, and abortions. It’s also an extremely political organization, lobbying against parental consent laws and pharmacists’ refusal clauses (both of which are protected by the Tenth Amendment), and supporting Democratic candidates in elections. Planned Parenthood was a strong supporter of candidate Obama in 2008.

What’s wrong with that? They’re a private organization and can do what they want, right? Er, not exactly. Although Planned Parenthood receives about one-fourth of its funding from private donors, it receives a whopping one-third from the federal government; the organization raked in $363.2 million from the taxpayers in the 2008-2009 fiscal year. Federal law prohibits federal funding of abortions (with some exceptions), but Planned Parenthood openly calls for the removal of this reasonable restriction.

To put it bluntly, Planned Parenthood is a leech, a parasitic organization that feeds on Americans’ paychecks. Certainly, some citizens approve of the organization’s activities, and they are free to support it with their own money, but it is unacceptable, even immoral, to force those who do not approve to finance activities that might, in some cases, violate their religious convictions.

Isn’t there something in the First Amendment about that?

Some conservative activists oppose the very existence of Planned Parenthood simply because of the role it plays in providing abortions; it performed nearly 325,000 in 2008 alone. However, that’s not the point. Abortion debate aside, a controversial organization like Planned Parenthood should not receive a full third of its billion-dollar budget from taxpayers. For that matter, it shouldn’t receive any federal funding at all. Period. If Planned Parenthood can’t operate on the same playing field as every other private organization in the U.S. that doesn’t get an enormous check from Uncle Sam every year, then perhaps its activities aren’t quite as popular as its public relations department likes to pretend.

Far from waging a war against women, the Republicans in Congress are battling wasteful spending and defending workers’ right to decide how to spend or invest their earnings. In these difficult economic times, it’s downright absurd to argue that Person A should be forced to pay for Person B’s condoms or morning-after pills, which is exactly what Democrats are doing.

The only fair criticism of the move to defund Planned Parenthood is that it focuses on a lone vampire-like organization and ignores a multitude of others that are feeding at the public trough, as freshman Representative Justin Amash (R-MI) pointed out, following the vote. He would rather defund all organizations that provide abortions, and is not alone; survey respondents consistently indicate that they would prefer the government didn’t pay for abortions, regardless of their personal feelings about the procedure.

Last week’s vote is a tiny step in the right direction, when it comes to reducing the outrageous amount of the public’s money that the federal government doles out to various organizations and causes, but such steps are necessary if this nation is ever to be called “free” again.

Ask Congress to Defund Planned Parenthood

by Jennifer Mesko, CitizenLink: The U.S. House of Representatives has taken several steps recently toward the goal of ending taxpayer funding of groups that perform abortions.

“The pro-life leadership of the House has been courageous in … acting on pro-life sentiments,” said Charmaine Yoest, president and CEO of Americans United for Life. “Pro-life and pro-choice Americans agree: No abortion tax should be levied on Americans. Politicians looking for bipartisan agreement, look no further.”

Rep. Mike Pence, R-Ind., has introduced the Title X Abortion Provider Prohibition Act, to ensure that family planning programs tied to abortion providers like Planned Parenthood do not receive tax dollars. Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion seller, received $363 million in taxpayer funds during fiscal year 2008 and performs hundreds of thousands of abortions every year.

The No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion Act, which has been introduced by Reps. Chris Smith, R-N.J., and Dan Lipinski, D-Ill., would convert several pro-life policies — also known as riders — into law. Currently, taxpayer funding for abortion is prohibited through a patchwork of policies that must be approved annually. The bill also would codify conscience protections for health care workers who object to abortion and other actions.

The Protect Life Act would resurrect the language of the Stupak-Pitts health care reform amendment and remove abortion funding from the health care law. It is sponsored by Rep. Joe Pitts, R-Pa. The legislation also would protect the conscience rights of health care workers.

Douglas Johnson, federal legislative director for the National Right to Life Committee, testified on the Protect Life Act last week in Congress. “When a federal program pays for abortion or subsidizes health plans that cover abortion, that constitutes federal funding of abortion — no matter what deceptive labels … might be employed to conceal the reality,” he said. In the health care law, he said, “We find a hodgepodge of artful exercises in misdirection, bookkeeping gimmicks, loopholes, ultra-narrow provisions that were designed to be ineffective, and/or provisions that are rigged to expire.”

Also, Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa, and 70 other members of Congress are calling on Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius to investigate whether tax dollars are being used to fund “telemed” abortions — in which an abortionist consults with a woman over a webcam and then uses a remote control to open a drawer containing the abortion pill RU-486.

TAKE ACTION
Ask your U.S. representative to defund Planned Parenthood by supporting and co-sponsoring the Title X Abortion Provider Prohibition Act.
Sign petition calling on Congress to “Remember the Family” and eliminate funding for Planned Parenthood.

Our Lady of Guadalupe KAPOWS Worcester Planned Parenthood

We took the missionary image down to Planned Parenthood Abortion Facility in Worcester, MA. And it was amazing opportunity for grace.

Imagine this. We were across the street from their fourth floor windows in a thin sidewalk with a huge snowbank. We get out a pick and shovel and start digging a place in the frozen snow bank for our lady. Well this attracted a lot of attention at Planned Parenthood across the street. Soon we had a platform dug, and the folks are looking out the window. We unloaded the image wrapped in a blanket and carried the 4' x 3' container to the space we had dug. We unwrap and unfold the 4'W x 6'H image of our lady of Guadalupe and KAPOW! You could just feel the love radiating across the street. Then, we started to pray, and I especially was praying for all of these women who kept coming to the window to see what was going on, and to see the picture of Our Lady. I felt infused with love for the women who work at Planned Parenthood, and I felt God's love shining through me.

Some of them waved. There was one in particular that I felt great hope for. It was a good day.

BREAKING NEWS: Caught on Tape: Planned Parenthood Aids Pimp’s Underage Sex Ring

Bronx, NY Planned Parenthood Staffer Tells "Pimp" He Can Pose As Guardian To Get Tax Payer Funded Services For Underage Sex Workers

NYC Planned Parenthood Supervisor, Employee Shown Willing to Assist Pimp/Sex Trafficker With Girls As Young As 13.

Supervisor and Staffer Serve Up Business As Usual, Counsel When Pimp Tells of Underage Girls Being Used for “Sex Work” February 8, 2011 – When told by a man posing as a pimp that he needs help with girls he manages as young as 14-15 years old, a Bronx New York Planned Parenthood Staffer is unphased and offers to go one better: “We see people as young as 13….everything is totally confidential.

New undercover Live Action footage from inside a Bronx, NY Planned Parenthood clinic for the first time shows a Planned Parenthood Supervisor/Practitioner willing to assist a man posing as a pimp, even offering guidance on how the pimp’s underage girls can get insurance through tax payer funded programs to pay for abortions and other services even if the underage girls that are not U.S. citizens.

Planned Parenthood Supervisor/Practitioner:  I’m one of the practitioners here.
Pimp: Oh, ok. I was wondering, uh, do you have a moment?
Planned Parenthood Supervisor/Practitioner: Mhm
Pimp: I was wondering, um, so like is this still confidential?
Planned Parenthood Supervisor/Practitioner: Yeah.
Pimp: We’re involved in sex work-
Planned Parenthood Supervisor/Practitioner: Mhm.
Pimp: We have some girls that are kind of young like, 14, 15, that they might need an abortion-
Planned Parenthood Supervisor/Practitioner: Mhm.
Pimp: And, how is the best way should they could go about it?
Planned Parenthood Supervisor/Practitioner: They just show up, and set up an appointment. Do they have insurance?
Pimp: They don’t have insurance, some don’t even speak that good of English ‘cause you know, they just got here.
Planned Parenthood Supervisor/Practitioner: Right. So we have an interpretation phone, so if they don’t speak Spanish that’s not a problem. I mean if they don’t speak English that’s not a problem cause we can have an interpreter –
This is the sixth set of full footage released fromLive Action’s current ongoing investigation into Planned Parenthood.  This latest reel of footage uncovers what organization President, Lila Rose, calls an “institutional crisis in which Planned Parenthood is willing to assist sex trafficking and exploitation of minors and young women.”

Live Action has released numerous videos over the past three years offering compounding evidence that Rose says, “unequivocally shows that Planned Parenthood is unsafe and puts underage girls and young women in harm’s way.”

“Planned Parenthood has shown repeatedly for the past three years of our investigation that they are willing to aid and abet the sexual exploitation of minors and young girls, even girls as young as 13 and here illegally, all under a sick code of ‘confidentiality.’   For Planned Parenthood, this ‘confidentiality’ supersedes a zero tolerance for sex trafficking and exploitation of minors and young women,” Rose said.

Last week, Live Action released raw footage of five Planned Parenthood clinics, one in New Jersey and four in Virginia, all revealing employees willing to counsel a self-identified sex-trafficker on how to obtain STD testing, birth control and abortions for underage girls that he “manages” in “sex work.”

“Today, we are making full footage and transcripts available to New York law enforcement officials and we are calling upon New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman to launch a formal investigation as has been done in New Jersey by Attorney General Paula Dow.  This footage shows that underage girls and young women are at potentially grave risk when they walk into Planned Parenthood clinics,” Rose said.

Additional Findings from the footage:
Prostitute: They just came over, they’re workin’ with us, and we’re helpin’ them out –
Planned Parenthood Staffer: Mhm
Prostitute: Just keeping them safe.
Pimp: Could we even sign off as guardians? Could we even sign off as a guardian, is that even possible?
Planned Parenthood Staffer: If you were writing the support letter, yeah, you could say –
Prostitute: Oh good
Planned Parenthood Staffer: that you take care of them, you support them.
Pimp: Cool!
Planned Parenthood Staffer: But nothing here, like, our patients, we don’t ask for guardian’s signature. Everything is the patient. Like a thirteen-year-old could come in and get the services she needed, by herself.
Pimp: So, how would you recommend for them best to do it? Cause we don’t want them getting confused or what not, and it’s kind of a sensitive subject, so we don’t want you know, them saying the wrong thing, you know getting refused or turned away, so how would you suggest they go about you know being able to get the access even in spite of what they do, you know?
Planned Parenthood Staffer: Yeah, like, like I said everything’s confidential, they don't have to tell anybody what it is that they do when they make the an appointment, it’s just gonna be between them and the Physician they see.
Live Action has previously released more than a dozen hidden camera videos from ten states. This body of visual evidence shows several alarming patterns of illegal Planned Parenthood activities including cover-up of sexual abuse of minors, the skirting of parental consent laws, citing unscientific and fabricated medical information to manipulate women to have abortions, and Planned Parenthood’s willingness to accept donations earmarked to abort African-American babies.

Babies to be protected when their hearts begin to beat

Ohio’s Heartbeat Bill will protect babies from the time their hearts begin to beat! When passed, the Heartbeat Bill will be the most protective law in the nation!

National Right to Life founder Dr. John "Jack" Willke estimates it will save 95 percent of the babies who would otherwise be aborted! That’s more than 20,000 lives a year!

Representative Lynn Wachtmann , the prime sponsor of the bill, is the chairman of the committee hearing it--a pretty sure sign it will be brought to a vote! It gets better: Already, nearly half of the members of the Ohio House of Representatives have signed on the bill as co-sponsors!

But the pro-aborts are gearing up. Already, NARAL has sent 200 attacking letters to our sponsor. I say, let’s more than counter what they do—let’s trump it--with 200 people sending more than letters—Let’s send balloons!

That’s right: sending Balloons can help pass the Heartbeat Bill!

No kidding. With the click of a button, you can send a simple, positive message that everyone in the Ohio Statehouse will see: Red Heart Balloons! Yes, heart-shaped red balloons with the message: “Have a heart, pass the Heartbeat bill!”

You can send them to the Governor and House Leadership, the committee hearing the Heartbeat bill, or my personal favorite: ALL 99 State Representatives!

Already more than 1500 balloons have been ordered for delivery next week and on Valentine’s Day. But here’s the thing: if just 200 people sent 99 red balloons — the Statehouse would be filled with 20,000 balloons—one for each life that will be saved yearly! How in the world do you not notice that?

It will send the message of encouragement and support our legislators need to withstand the opposition that’s coming.

Why should an Ohio Bill matter to you? Because when you help pass the Heartbeat Bill, you’re going to help protect babies in other states—who are already lining up to follow Ohio’s lead!

If you care about protecting babies as we do, please put your faith to action at www.HeartBeatBill.com and send a simple, effective, and positive message that simply can’t be ignored.

Finally, we have a bill that will protect nearly every baby. Go to Heartbeat Bill and watch the music video with dancing babies (in utero and out!) and see if it doesn’t make you want to help pass the bill that will let babies dance with the celebration of life!

And, while you’re sending the balloons, would you please consider making the most generous donation you can? As I write this from a hotel room in Columbus where I’m getting ready to go and lobby for more co-sponsors, I’m praying that God will move in your heart to help us at this critical time of opportunity and a time of critical financial need.

I’ve worked to pass the “incremental bills;” I was a part of the South Dakota effort, but I’m telling you THIS BILL is the best chance we have of protecting babies in the nation. And all it will take from this point is balloons, prayer, and funds!

And may God bless you as you become a “voice for those appointed to die,” (Proverbs 31:8) with a simple message at www.HeartBeatBill.com.
