Two new expose’ videos reveal the Hawaii-based Planned Parenthood abortion business selling taxpayer-funded abortions to women posing as potential customers seeking an abortion for purposes of sex-selection. Live Action released new undercover footage today showing two Planned Parenthood clinics, in Maui and Honolulu, advising undercover investigators on how to procure a sex-selective abortion of her baby girl because she wants a boy instead. Officials with the group say Planned Parenthood claims publicly to condemn sex-selective abortion but continues to provide them to women who request them. Olympian Dominique Moceanu Discovers Adopted “Secret Sister”
Olympic gold medalist Dominique Moceanu is garnering attention and not because she is a hard-working athlete who is one of the world’s best. In new interviews, Moceanu says she discovered the “big lie” her father hid — that she has another sister, a secret sister given up for adoption at birth. Moceanu writes in her new memoir, Off Balance, about getting a letter and pictures in December 2007 from a woman aged 20 who looked very similar to her. “It was the biggest bombshell of my life,” Moceanu told ABC’s 20/20 in a new television interview late last week. “I had this sister who was given up for adoption, and I never knew it.” Rich People FedEx Embryos to Women in India for Cheap Surrogacy U.S. Senator Introduces Sex-Selection Abortion Ban
U.S. Senator David Vitter, a Louisiana Republican, has introduced the Senate version of the Prenatal Nondiscrimination Act, which would make it illegal to obtain an abortion due to a gender preference. Vitter’s bill has 26 co-sponsors and is similar to legislation the House supported with a majority vote that ultimately fell short because Democrats would not go along with a measure that bans sex-selection abortions. “It’s flat out morally wrong to assign different values to unborn babies’ lives based on gender, but believe it or not, it happens,” said Vitter. “We should have zero tolerance for this kind of discrimination.” Botched Abortion at New York Clinic Sends Woman to Hospital
A failed abortion on a woman and her unborn child at a Bronx abortion clinic is opening the Dr. Emily’s Health Center abortion clinic to more criticism. This is the same abortion business found to have been engaged in illegal dumping. An ambulance transported a patient to the hospital from Dr. Emily’s Health Center Tuesday morning as pro-life activists photographed the incident. Witnesses informed LifeNews and the pro-life group Operation Rescue about the failed abortion, which had officials at the clinic carry the woman out on a covered stretcher to the awaiting ambulance. Why Do “Social Justice” Christians Ignore Pro-Life Issues? An abortion is the intentional killing of an unborn child inside (or partially inside) the womb. Social justice is . . . what exactly? Again and again I see young social justice-focused evangelicals abandoning any effective voice for the unborn for the sake of an ephemeral, culturally-fashionable concept that as a practical matter means little more than advocating a utopian ideal through a grab-bag of banal, functionally socialist policies. Moreover, the embrace of social justice often drives them functionally into the arms of a political party and political movements that are dedicated to protecting and even subsidizing the “right” to kill children on a vast, industrial scale.
Planned Parenthood Defeats North Dakota Religious Liberty Measure
Thanks to an onslaught of spending in North Dakota by Planned Parenthood and other top abortion backers that distorted it, voters on Tuesday rejected a measure that protects religious freedom. Measure 3 was meant to safeguard religious freedoms without interfering with the legitimate needs of government to protect its citizens. With the attacks on religious liberties posed by Obamacare and its recent HHS mandate forcing religious groups to fund birth control or drugs that may cause abortions for their employees, states are pushing back with legislation and ballot proposals to protect their rights. Americans Rally Nationwide, Demand Obama HHS Mandate Reversal Tens of thousands of Americans rallied today in more than 160 cities against the Obama HHS mandate that requires religious groups to pay for birth control and abortion -causing drugs for their employees. In the nation’s capital, they demanded that the Obama administration roll back the controversial mandate. The rallies are intended to send a message to the federal administration that the mandate is over-reaching, is an attack on the First Amendment rights of American religious institutions and significantly damaging to religious freedom and rights of conscience. Citizens across the country, national and regional rally organizers are concerned about closure of services to the poor, the sick, the elderly, the most vulnerable in society, because the Mandate would distinctly violate religious charitable institutions’ belief systems.
Polls Show Obama, Romney Close in 2012 Battleground States
New polling data shows pro-abortion President Barack Obama and Mitt Romney, who has been endorsed by numerous pro-life groups and leaders, are locked in a close race in some of the top 2012 battleground states. The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Missouri Voters shows Romney earning 49% of the vote, while President Obama picks up 42% support. Six percent (6%) favor some other candidate, and three percent (3%) are undecided. Romney held a 50% to 41% lead in March and John McCain edged Obama 50% to 49% to carry Missouri in the 2008 election. Christians Should Vote for Romney, Because Judges Matter
It’s no secret that I have been and remain a vocal critic of Mitt Romney. To say that his conservative bona fides are suspect is an understatement. I have tremendous respect for a number of fellow evangelical Christians who say that they will not support his presidential candidacy. I expect I will anger some of them, and may even lose a few friends. Still, in November, I am voting for Mr. Romney and suggest that any Christian – Republican, Democrat or independent – should do the same. Jesus admonished: “Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents and harmless as doves.” (Matthew 10:16). It is through this biblical prism that I shine my multicolored analysis. Planned Parenthood Mtg on Overbilling Govt: “We Won’t Get Caught”
I remember the meeting like it was yesterday. All of the clinic directors assembled in the main conference room. Sitting in a sort of squared-circle facing each other. We were being told that we had all been guilty of fraudulent billing to the state and federal government. We didn’t even know that we had been participating in the fraud. We were all sitting there in silence. What did this mean? Were we in trouble? Could we potentially get in trouble? So, I broke the silence. I simply asked, “What are we going to do about the money we shouldn’t have received?” The response, “We are going to hope we don’t get caught.” But…”What if we do get caught? Can we be held responsible?” She then went into a long story about a similar situation she had once been in at a clinic where she once worked. The moral of the story was, yes, we could all be held responsible…but not to worry, “we” wouldn’t get caught. Senate Votes Monday on Obama Pro-Abortion Judicial Pick
The Senate will vote on Monday on Andrew Hurwitz, President Obama’s pro-abortion nominee to the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Obama added to his pro-abortion record by placing yet another abortion activist in nomination to a top federal appeals court — this time a lawyer credited with helping craft the Roe v. Wade decision. He appointed Hurwitz to the 9th Circuit Court, the most liberal appeals court in the country based in San Francisco and covering laws approved in western states. Police Force Pro-Lifers to Put Signs on Ground at Public Rally Yesterday afternoon, I joined concerned citizens from around the Dayton area at the Stand Up for Religious Freedom Rally on the PUBLIC campus of Sinclair Community College. This was an official event sponsored by a campus group and part of a nationwide series of rallies being held today. I was the closing speaker for the rally, invited to speak to the crowd about getting involved and getting active. As the Rally was starting the campus police informed us that all the signs and banners people were holding must be put on the ground after a complaint from a homosexual advocacy group leader. The police walked around the crowd telling people to put their signs down, that they could not hold them in their hands.
New York Times Misleads on Abortion Properties of Ella, Plan B
The recent New York Times article by Pam Belluck, asserting that so-called abortifacient drugs may not be abortive at all, is a wonderful example of convolution of facts to obscure reality. First of all, lumping together two very different drugs and calling them “morning-after pills” allows for clever confusion of what is known about the mechanism of action of each drug, and the role of progesterone in helping the embryo to implant and sustain the pregnancy. Plan B and Ella are very different drugs with very different mechanisms of action. Plan B is a progestin, a type of progesterone. Progesterone is a hormone that must be in a woman’s body for her to be able to allow the embryo to implant and develop the placental connections between the embryo and the mother. But Plan B is a very large dose of progesterone, higher than the woman’s body would normally make. It is the effect of that high dose which is under debate. Stop Planned Parenthood From Setting Up Shop in Public Schools When I first read the headline of this story I was hoping I was reading wrong or that it was a parody. Unfortunately I was reading correctly and this was a real news story. Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest provider of abortion has set up one of their death camps inside the walls of a public high school.
Chinese Officials Abduct Woman, Threaten Forced Abortion Chen Guangcheng may have made it to the United States safely, after fleeing Chinese persecution against him for exposing campaigns of thousands of forced abortions and sterilizations, but the persecution continues.
Guttmacher Fails to Debunk Chilean Abortion-Maternal Mortality StudyA recent study which demonstrates that abortion restrictions in Chile have not hurt maternal-mortality outcomes has received a considerable amount of attention. As I wrote previously, this study is very important for several reasons. It is methodologically rigorous, it analyzes reliable public-health data, and it looks at one of the few countries to place restrictions on abortion after a period of legalization.
