Planned Parenthood: 1.5 Million Abortions Under Cecile Richards As head of Planned Parenthood Federation of America, Cecile Richards presided over the grisly death by abortion of 1.5 million tiny, innocent babies from the time she took the helm at Planned Parenthood Federation of America in 2006 through 2010. She tucked an estimated $743 million in blood money into PPFA bank accounts for her efforts. If you consider that, as of 2010, Planned Parenthood had committed 5.6 million abortions since it first began perpetrating the heinous act in 1970, you will see that in only four years, Richards was ultimately responsible for more than one-fourth of the total surgical and medical abortions committed by Planned Parenthood over a 42-year period.

Shock: Writer Wishes Her Mother Had Had an Abortion English writer Lynn Beisner is drawing gasps from readers across the world today over a column she wrote in the London Guardian saying she wishes her mother had had an abortion, because it would have supposedly made her mother’s life better. Titled, “I wish my mother had aborted me,” Beisner writes: “This is no ‘I wish I’d never been born’ howl of angst. I love my mother, and having an abortion would have given her a better life. There is no way my love-starved, trauma-addled mother was in a position to raise a child.”

Catholics Have Clear Choice in Pro-Life Ryan, Pro-Abortion Biden With the choice of Paul Ryan as Romney’s running-mate, the 2012 presidential election will be the first in U.S. history with a Roman Catholic on both sides of the ballot. Medalist Reese Hoffa Used Olympics Platform to Promote Adoption I am an Olympic blubberer. Whenever I read the news stories or watch the competitions I need a box of tissues nearby. The drama of the competition, the heartbreaking falls, the soaring successes and the inspiring narratives all reduce me to tears. The 2012 Summer Olympics tugged at my heartstrings with so many stories, but none more so than the bronze medal winner in the shot put, Reese Hoffa. When the reporters put the microphones in his face seeking a comment after the medal ceremony, he took advantage of the platform to extol the virtues of adoption. Hoffa’s life story has been told many times. He was placed in an orphanage when he was four years old. His mother was barely sixteen when she gave birth to him, her second child. She tried to raise the two children but had no money and no family support, so she did what she thought was best for her children and gave them up for adoption. When speaking of his biological mother, Reese says, “I have to say thank you very much … For her to make a decision to give the best life I could possibly have, I’m sure that took incredible courage on her part.”
