Kermit Gosnell Has No Remorse for Killing Babies Born Alive Abortion practitioner Kermit Gosnell has no remorse for his role in the brutal abortion-infanticides he engaged in at his Philadelphia abortion business. Gosnell was convicted of first-degree murder in the deaths of three babies born alive after an abortion process that involved jabbing them in the neck with scissors. He gave up his right to appeal the verdict that found him guilty on three of the four first-degree murder charges he faced. As a result, prosecutors agreed to two life terms in prison and Gosnell would not face the death penalty. Read More

Cardinal Burke: No Communion for Nancy Pelosi and Pro-Abortion Politicians Catholics and pro-life advocates of other religious persuasions have wondered for years why House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi, who has been an ardent abortion activist for years, continues to receive communion. In a new interview with The Wanderer, a Catholic newspaper, Raymond Leo Cardinal Burke, prefect of the Supreme Tribunal of the Apostolic Signatura in Rome, sheds light on Pelosi and communion. He issues a call for pro-abortion politicians to be denied the sacrament — saying that Catholic Canon law must be applied to them. Read More

Pope Francis Has Not Diluted the Pro-Life Teachings of the Catholic Church As the Director of Priests for Life, known worldwide as a ministry within the Catholic Church that urges more preaching, teaching, and action against abortion, I was asked by many alarmed and confused people these past few days about the reported comments of the Pope that the Church should not be “obsessed” with this issue, and that there should be “balance” and “context. Is the pope saying we should talk less about abortion? Is he saying that the emphasis the Church has placed on this issue has been a mistaken emphasis? Read More

Abortionist: We Give Parents of Aborted Babies Photos to Remember Their “Birth” A recent interview with late-term abortionist Dr. Susan Robinson in The Hairpin casts some light on the controversial practice of third-trimester abortion. Even many pro-choice people have a hard time understanding why a woman would wait 30 weeks before having an abortion. You sometimes hear pro-choicers say that if there were fewer restrictions on earlier abortion, there would be no late-term abortions. Not so, says Dr. Robinson: Read More

Parents of Disabled Baby: God Didn’t Bless Us With a Syndrome, He Blessed Us With a Son Before Simon’s arrival my husband, Scott, and I lost six children through miscarriage. With each loss the sting of pain was greater. After we lost our daughter Faith in September 2008, we rid our home of most of our baby items. Losing a child is a pain so deep that is difficult for anyone to grasp. It can be like falling down a chasm that seems to have no bottom. The chasm is lined with thorn branches that scrape and pull at your skin when you remember what you have lost. Read More
