National Day of Remembrance on September 10 Helps Us Remember Abortion Kills People

Recently, a backpack containing the body of a newborn baby girl was found along the roadside in a Chicago suburb. Headlines proclaimed the tragedy of the child police dubbed “Baby Hope.”

This Saturday, September 10, 2016, tens of thousands of “Baby Hopes” will be mourned during the Fourth Annual National Day of Remembrance for Aborted Children. This solemn event memorializes aborted babies buried at dozens of gravesites around the nation — a tiny fraction of the nearly 60 million children killed by abortion since it was legalized in 1973.

Alveda King, niece of civil rights leader Martin Luther King, Jr., and Sandra Merritt, undercover journalist who worked with David Daleiden to expose Planned Parenthood’s role in baby body parts trafficking, will be among those speaking at memorial events. Other presenters include Rev. Walter Hoye, who was imprisoned for sharing pro-life messages outside of an abortion facility, several Catholic Bishops and elected officials.

The Pro-Life Action League, Citizens for a Pro-Life Society and Priests for Life coordinate this yearly remembrance to heighten awareness that every abortion results in the death of an innocent child and to memorialize those unborn boys and girls. Solemn prayer vigils will be conducted at 145 memorial sites across the country, including nearly 50 gravesites where the remains of aborted children have been buried. Memorial event locations and times are available at AbortionMemorials.com. . . . Read More
