Sen. Lautenberg: Tea Party, Life Advocates Not Worthy of Freedoms

by Catherine Snow, CitizenLink: As the Congressional budget battle rages on this week — especially over the issue of taxpayer funding of abortion — Sen. Frank Lautenberg, D-N.J., stoked emotional flames during a recent Planned Parenthood rally.

Twice, the 87-year-old senator declared during a March 22 rally in front of a closed New Jersey abortion clinic that pro-life advocates don’t deserve the freedoms granted by the U.S. Constitution.

The cause of his ire? House measures aimed at cutting all federal funds going to Planned Parenthood:
“There are a group of Tea Party Republicans and they have declared a war on women, and we are not going to stand for it! Those who don’t respect the rights of women don’t earn the rights that are guaranteed in the Constitution,”

“Tea Party Republicans in Washington claim they are concerned about the budget balance. But it’s a disguise! It’s not true! It’s a lie. It’s not what they want. They want other people not to be able to have their own opinions.“They don’t deserve the freedoms that are in the Constitution. But, we’ll give them to them anyway. Republicans aren’t satisfied to dry up the funding. What they want to do is cut the programs.”
Not mentioned were recently released undercover videos that documented several clinics’ apparent willingness to help in the sex trafficking of minors.
Though the mainstream media remained silent over Lautenberg’s apparent civics blunder, conservative bloggers did not.

One mom responded tongue-in-cheek:
“News flash to Lautenberg: Rights are not Congress’ to grant or rescind at whim. You don’t get to decide which people deserve rights to free speech, especially not based on political thought. In fact, that’s the entire reason for the First Amendment, which restrains government from making that decision. The ‘freedoms in the Constitution’ aren’t a grant from Congress, but the recognition of innate human rights — and a restraint on Congress from violating them.”
Kristan Hawkins, executive director of Students for Life of America, said that Lautenberg’s outrageous comments underscore her group’s plea for all Americans to contact Congress.

“Planned Parenthood is willing to deprive ordinary citizens of their constitutional rights, in order to put forward their abortion agenda,” Hawkins said. “This is an organization that can no longer receive funding from the federal government. Congress must de-fund Planned Parenthood in their next (continuing resolution) to preserve America’s constitutional rights for born and preborn Americans.”

  1. Please ask Congress to Support No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion Act (H.R.3)
  2. Please ask House & Senate members to include pro-Life provisions in the 2011 spending bill.

Disappointed in Sen. Scott Brown's Support For Spending Tax Dollars on Abortions

Dr. Bill Smith: I supported Scott Brown (R-MA) candidacy for US Senator. He was not as conservative as I am would have liked but he was at that moment far better than his opponent. I also believed he would abide by his word to be both a fiscal conservative and to abide by the Republican Party platform.

As editor for the ARRA News Service, a national new media activist and writer for other blogs, I promoted his candidacy. I was even invited to attend Sen-Elect Brown's Victory Party. But, I had prior important travel commitment to MA to visit with my granddaughters and new grandson. There lives were more important.

Brown could not have won without the support of pro-life Massachusetts voters. Thus, I am extremely disappointed with Brown's move toward ignoring his prior campaign commitments and moving to support using Federal tax dollars to fund Planned Parenthood. First consider that all money provided to Planned Parenthood is borrowed money and adds to the National debt. Why are we funding non-profit organizations regardless of their agenda? Sen. Brown, what part of "broke" do you not understand. Funding, Planned Parenthood is not a national priority for the American people.

Next, Mr. Scott subscribed to the Republican platform which has a pro-life plank. While Brown is entitled to his personal beliefs and biases, he is not entitled to ignore the fact that most "republicans" and "conservatives in general"oppose providing Federal funding to Planned Parenthood - a major abortion provider. The Federal government doesn't need to be supporting the "abortion of babies"!

The following Red State article addresses Sen. Scott Browns actions and their disappointment in Sen. Scott Brown's position. Tell Sen. Scott Brown to keep his personal opinions BUT that doesn't give him the right to continue to support Federal funding for Planned Parenthood.

Sen. Scott Brown Supports Spending Your Tax Dollars on Abortions
by Leon H. Wolf, RedState: Often in the political activism business, we struggle to balance principle with strategy. At RedState, we have taken& the oft-criticized stance that we will not endorse any pro-choice candidate, regardless of their stance on other issues. That said, we have not always agreed, even amongst ourselves, how we should treat pro-choice Republicans who would nonetheless doubtless be better than the Democrat alternative. In some cases, many of us (myself often included) have felt comfortable keeping quiet about pro-choice Republicans, saying things about them that are generally positive, and/or attacking their Democrat opponents. In the last couple of years, we have had lively discussions about how to react to primary challenges to Mike Castle and Olympia Snowe, to name but a couple. Personally, I counseled leaving both Castle and Snowe alone at least in the absence of a primary challenger who could win statewide.

That having been said, it is one thing to be pro-choice - i.e., to believe that mothers ought to legally have the right to kill their children in utero. This, perhaps, is something towards which conservatives might turn a blind eye in the service of pragmatism and politics. It is something else to be in favor of taxpayer funding of abortion, a position which is outside the mainstream of American politics and which seeks to make each and every one of us complicit in abortions. This is exactly the position Scott Brown has taken.

Scott Brown can couch his support for Planned Parenthood in all the flowery euphemisms that he likes; that just shows that he has been bought and paid for by the abortion industry. He can attempt to split hairs and claim that the money that goes to Planned Parenthood does not go for abortions, but this is a line of argumentation that only fools the idiots and the willfully blind. The defining characteristic of money is that it is fungible. Which bank account it goes into is completely irrelevant. And if Scott Brown, after having seen the corruption of Planned Parenthood exposed over and over again throughout the last month, still thinks a portion of my income ought to be forcibly taken from me and given to Planned Parenthood for them to continue their butchery and lawlessness, then I think someone - anyone - ought to challenge Scott Brown in a primary. And whoever that person is, they will have my support and whatever I can afford to donate as long as they repudiate Brown’s stance on this issue.

And if he should survive that primary, I have no idea why any Republican should feel that he deserves their vote in the general. Taxpayer funding of abortion is a repulsive position that is outside the American mainstream and it shouldn’t be identified as “bipartisan.”

2011 National Pro-life T-shirt Week

American League For Life (ALL) - Video:
American Life League's NPLTW is organized with the intent to increase awareness of the personhood of the child in the womb and the tragedy of abortion.

Primarily, we are concerned with getting people to think of the child as a person from the moment of his or her biological inception. It is much harder to murder a person than it is to "remove a lump of tissues," and it is only when we finally get the nation thinking in those terms that we will be able to restore the right to life of our preborn brothers and sisters.

Just by wearing the T-shirt and being out there in public, you will help to accomplish that goal!

The photo contest is designed to get as many people wearing a pro-life shirt out into the public arena to more effectively show how prevalent pro-life sentiments are.

This contest is perfect for someone who has not done any type of pro-life activities as well as for those who have competed in the last two years. We are adding many new features to the contest this year to keep it interesting and to open the contest even more so that everyone has a chance. Register at

We're Waiting

American League For Life (ALL) - Video: Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.203-13 (b)(2) requires that every contractor doing business with the government "shall—(i) Exercise due diligence to prevent and detect criminal conduct; and (ii) Otherwise promote an organizational culture that encourages ethical conduct and a commitment to compliance with the law." American Life League (ALL) released a new video today that they say summarizes a long, well documented public record that Planned Parenthood does not meet federal standards and therefore is ineligible for Title X or any federal contracts.

Cain: Planned Parenthood’s mission is 'planned genocide' of black babies

Herman Cain Pro-Life Advocate
By CNN Political Producer Shannon Travis: Washington (CNN) – Using unusually harsh words, a potential presidential candidate echoed some previous comments: claiming that Planned Parenthood’s original mission was to “help kill black babies before they came into the world.” Herman Cain went on to say that the sexual and reproductive health care provider is carrying out its mission of “planned genocide.”

In response, the group said that Cain is using "inflammatory and divisive language based on race to achieve extreme political goals" of ending legal abortion.

Cain, an African-American and the first Republican to launch a presidential exploratory committee, made the comments Tuesday during a question-and-answer session at the Heritage Foundation, a conservative think-tank in Washington.
The purpose of the session was for Cain to talk about national policy.  He covered lots of ground: outlining his views on monetary policy, “fixing” the Federal Reserve, and overturning “Obamacare.”

His comments about Planned Parenthood come amid a debate in Congress over federal funding for Planned Parenthood.  Attached to the spending bill recently passed by the House is an amendment from Republican Rep. Mike Pence of Indiana that denies the group funds.

Speaking to reporters and bloggers at the Heritage Foundation, Cain echoed a position expressed by many other Republicans. “I support de-funding Planned Parenthood,” Cain said.  “Tactically how they [Congress] does it…I can’t tell you.”

Cain then explained the reason behind his stance. “You probably don’t hear a lot of people talking about this,” Cain said.  “When Margaret Sanger – check my history – started Planned Parenthood, the objective was to put these centers in primarily black communities so they could help kill black babies before they came into the world.” “It's planned genocide,” Cain claimed.

“It’s carrying out its original mission,” he continued.  “I’ve talked to young girls who go in there, and they [Planned Parenthood] don’t talk about how you plan parenthood.  They don’t talk about adoption as an option.  They don’t say, ‘Well, bring your parents in so we can sit down and talk with you, and counsel with you before you make this decision.’”

Planned Parenthood responded to Cain’s comments in a statement to CNN. “Herman Cain is clearly out of the mainstream by supporting an extreme proposal that would bar Planned Parenthood health centers from receiving federal funds for any purpose, including for preventive health care, lifesaving cancer screenings, breast exams, birth control, HIV testing and STD testing and treatment,” said Veronica Byrd, Planned Parenthood Federation of America’s director of African-American Media. “The care that Planned Parenthood provides benefits all women, especially African-American women who experience higher rates of illness.”

Byrd continued: “Planned Parenthood doctors and nurses provide affordable, health care to every woman who comes through the doors of one of our 800 health centers, regardless of where she lives, her race or ethnic background, religion, sexual orientation, or income level. We are committed to providing every woman with a full range of high quality health care.”

As for the claim regarding African-American babies, Byrd cited a study that “found that fewer than one in 10 abortion clinics are located in predominantly African-American neighborhoods.” Byrd did not respond directly to Cain’s words about its founder, Margaret Sanger. . . .

Herman Cain Blasts Planned Parenthood, Abortion Biz Attacks Him

by Steven Ertelt, LifeNews: During a presentation before a set of conservative bloggers in the nation’s capital today, likely Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain, a pro-life businessman, bashed the Planned Parenthood abortion business — which went after him in return.

Cain said he supports revoking the federal taxpayer funding for the abortion business: “I support de-funding Planned Parenthood. “Tactically how [Congress] does it…I can’t tell you.”

The African-American then went further and talked about the racial overtones behind the founding of the abortion business by Margaret Sanger. “You probably don’t hear a lot of people talking about this,” Cain said. “When Margaret Sanger – check my history – started Planned Parenthood, the objective was to put these centers in primarily black communities so they could help kill black babies before they came into the world.”

“It’s planned genocide. It’s carrying out its original mission,” he said. “I’ve talked to young girls who go in there, and they don’t talk about how you plan parenthood.  They don’t talk about adoption as an option.  They don’t say, ‘Well, bring your parents in so we can sit down and talk with you, and counsel with you before you make this decision.’”

In a statement to CNN, Veronica Byrd, Planned Parenthood Federation of America’s director of African-American Media, responded to Cain’s comments, saying he is using “inflammatory and divisive language based on race to achieve extreme political goals.”
“Herman Cain is clearly out of the mainstream by supporting an extreme proposal that would bar Planned Parenthood health centers from receiving federal funds for any purpose,’ she said. “The care that Planned Parenthood provides benefits all women, especially African-American women who experience higher rates of illness.”

But black women also experience higher rates of abortions, according to national and state-level statistics.

A February report the Centers for Disease Control issued showed abortions fell in 2007 to their second lowest level in the last 10 years. But, looking at the women from the 25 areas that reported abortions and cross-classified race/ethnicity data for 2007, black women accounted for 34.4% of all abortions despite being less than 20 percent of the national population of women. The CDC found black women had the highest abortion rates (32.1 abortions per 1,000 women aged 15–44 years) and ratios (480 abortions per 1,000 live births).

Still, Bryd cited for CNN a study she claims “found that fewer than one in 10 abortion clinics are located in predominantly African-American neighborhoods” even though new abortion centers Planned Parenthood recently built in Houston, Portland and Chicago are located in the heart of minority communities.

Cain is a businessman who is the first Republican to start an exploratory committee to gauge the potential for running a campaign for the GOP nomination to take on pro-abortion President Barack Obama in 2012. Little known outside of fiscally conservative circles, where he has been a fixture at Tea Party events pushing lower taxes, Cain is a national talk radio show host who resides in Georgia.

In January, Cain also went after Planned Parenthood.
He told American Family Radio’s “Focal Point” program that he is pro-life and opposes the agenda of Planned Parenthood, the nation’s biggest abortion business.
“I absolutely would defund Planned Parenthood — not because I don’t believe in planning parenthood, [but because] Planned Parenthood as an organization is an absolute farce on the American people,” he said.

Cain, who is African-American, accused the abortion business of engaging in a racist agenda. “People who know the history of Margaret Sanger, who started Planned Parenthood, they know that the intention was not to help young women who get pregnant to plan their parenthood. No — it was a sham to be able to kill black babies,” he added.

Cain also talked about his pro-life views in general and alluded to judicial appointments. “I believe that life begins at conception, period. And that means that I will have to see enough evidence that someone I would appoint shares that same view. I believe that the current Supreme Court is leaning too much to the liberal side,” he said. “I’m a Christian, I’ve been a Christian all my life. I’ve been a believer in the Bible since I was 10 years old. I’m very active in my church, and there is no way I would compromise my religious beliefs about the sanctity of life. And so it starts with, will they have demonstrated in their career, in some of their other rulings, if they come from the federal judge bench, whether or not they also share that.”

“Because I believe that the principles that our Founding Fathers cherished, when they founded this country, and wrote the Declaration of Independence which inspired the Constitution, they were based upon biblical principles. I want to get back to those principles as president, if I run and get elected — not rewrite those documents,” he added.

Shocking Stat: Number of Abortions Exceed All Other Deaths Combined in NYC

By David Schmidt, Live Action Blog: New York City, the home of abortion industry giant Planned Parenthood, is the abortion capitol of the United States. According to the New York City Summary of Vital Statistics, 41% of unborn children in that city have their lives end in abortion. The latest look at the numbers comes from data discoved by the Catholic Key blog. Let’s take a look….

In 2008, according to the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, there were 55,391 official deaths in New York City.

Also in 2008, according to the New York State Department of Health, there were 82,475 killed by induced abortions in New York City.

New York City - Chart of Deaths

I think it is fair to say, that this is true….
The Most Dangerous Place

UPDATE: As commenter “charleyme2″ as pointed out, the data for abortions came from 2008 and the data for deaths came from 2006 (but was reported in 2008). The correct comparison should be between abortions in 2008 and deaths in 2008. Based on that comparison, there we 54, 193 deaths from causes other than abortion instead of 55,391 which is the 2006 number. This minor change actually makes the ratio of abortion deaths to deaths from other causes higher.

Three Planned Parenthood Deceptions

By Abby Johnson, Live Action Blog:Planned Parenthood has been misleading Congress and American taxpayers for many years. I know — I was part of the deception. For eight years I worked at a Planned Parenthood clinic in Texas, and for two of those years I was the clinic’s director.

Here are the ways Planned Parenthood is deceiving the public — and taxpayers — about what it does.

Deception No. 1: Taxpayer funds don’t go to pay for abortions. This defies common sense and basic logic; of course taxpayer money helps to finance abortions at Planned Parenthood clinics. Planned Parenthood gets one-third of its annual budget from taxpayer funding, and it performed a total of more than 650,000 abortions in just 2008 and 2009 (the last year for which figures are available).

Think for a moment how much it costs to pay for someone to perform the abortion, other medical staff for support, their health benefits packages and malpractice insurance to cover all of them, and then multiply it by more than 650,000.

As clinic director, I saw how money received by Planned Parenthood affiliate clinics all went into one pot at the end of the day — it isn’t divvied up and directed to specific services.

And while Planned Parenthood says abortions make up just 3 percent of its services, I found they used an sleight of hand, unbundling family planning services so each patient shows anywhere from five to 20 “visits” per appointment (12 packs of birth control would show up as 12 individual visits). It does the opposite for abortion visits, bundling them together so each appointment shows as one visit. This skews the numbers. You have an overwhelming number of “visits” for family planning compared to abortion, even though you may have seen the same number of patients.

Deception No. 2: Planned Parenthood wants to reduce the number of abortions in the United States. Nonsense. Its primary focus is abortion and it is big business. In 2009, Planned Parenthood had $1.1 billion, and $63 million left over after expenses (see page 29 of its annual report).

No wonder Planned Parenthood has established an organization called the Consortium of Abortion Providers, the primary goal of which is to turn every nonabortion Planned Parenthood clinic into an abortion-providing clinic. Planned Parenthood also recently issued a directive mandating that all of its affiliates provide abortions by 2013.

Deception No. 3: Planned Parenthood’s highest priority is women’s health and safety. As referenced several times during the congressional debate about whether or not to defund Planned Parenthood, Live Action has documented numerous occasions in which Planned Parenthood staff have shown willingness to aid and abet self-identified sex traffickers and their professed exploitation of underage girls.

Planned Parenthood of Central New Jersey was so embarrassed by office manager Amy Woodruff’s comments recorded by an undercover hidden camera that it had to fire her. She was clearly advising a self-professed sex trafficker on how and where to get abortions for his underage girls. New Jersey Attorney General Paula Dow has asked for an investigation.

The pattern of willingness was demonstrated in other instances, recorded undercover in Virginia, New York and Washington, D.C.

In addition, abortion consultations are often not even done with a doctor in person but over the Internet through what is known as telemedicine. Abortion is a traumatic and potentially dangerous procedure, and even as Planned Parenthood’s “employee of the year” in 2008, I thought the push toward more telemed abortions was unreasonably risky.

Further, Planned Parenthood has adamantly opposed laws in nearly two dozen states that require clinic staff to show a woman a sonogram before the abortion takes place. So much for supporting informed choice.

Congress cannot consider itself an effective steward of taxpayer money if it continues to steer hundreds of millions of federal dollars every year to an organization that deliberately deceives the public and breaks the law.

I don’t claim to be an expert on the government’s fiscal priorities, but I do know from lengthy experience that the last place any taxpayer money should be going is to Planned Parenthood.
Abby Johnson worked at Planned Parenthood’s Bryan, Texas, clinic for eight years and was clinic director for more than two years. She is author of “Unplanned: The Dramatic True Story of a Former Planned Parenthood Leader’s Eye-Opening Journey Across the Life Line.”

Take Action: Ask Senate to Include Pro-Life Provisions in Spending Bill

by Jennifer Mesko: A government shutdown is looming, as the U.S. House and Senate continue to debate spending cuts. The resolution that is funding the government expires March 18. Congress may approve another two-week fix or settle on a bill that would cover costs through the end of September.

Life advocates in the House have included four key pro-life provisions in their spending bill (H.R. 1) and are hoping the Senate will follow suit. The amendments would: defund Planned Parenthood; reinstate the Mexico City Policy, which prevents federal funds from going to international groups that promote or perform abortions; defund the U.N. Population Fund; and stop government-funded abortions in Washington, D.C.

“If we’re talking about cutting programs, Planned Parenthood should be on the chopping block,” said Ashley Horne, federal policy analyst at CitizenLink. “Its budget is about $1 billion, with one-third of that coming from government grants and contracts.”

Rep. Mike Pence, R-Ind., who authored the amendment to defund Planned Parenthood, said life advocates must “seize this moment in history.” “We have never been closer to defunding Planned Parenthood since 1973,” he told supporters Monday night.

Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, who chairs the Republican Study Committee’s Budget & Spending Task Force, said life advocates are prepared for a fight. “We need to stop this crazy spending,” he said Monday. “Taxpayers should not be used to take the life of unborn children. There is an opportunity to get to the end zone on this particular issue.”

It’s time for pro-life Americans to contact the Senate, said Tom Minnery, senior vice president for government and public policy at CitizenLink.“Pick up the phone, and make a simple call,” he said.

TAKE ACTION: Please ask your two U.S. senators to include pro-life provisions in any short- or long-term spending bill for 2011.
FOR MORE INFORMATION Video: In this week’s CitizenLink Report, Tom Minnery and Ashley Horne explain the pro-life provisions and encourage viewers to speak out.

Planned Parenthood's 'Truth Tour" Does Not Mention the 332,278 Abortions It Performed in 2009

( - Planned Parenthood Federation of America is fighting a congressional attempt to end federal funding for the organization with a nationwide bus tour, dubbed the "Truth Tour." The organization's bright pink bus advertises various Planned Parenthood statistics and health data, but it does not include the number of abortions its clinics have performed -- more than 332,000 in 2009.

Alveda King: 'The Most Dangerous Place for An African American Is in the Womb'

NYC Pro-life billboard
Bullentin board in NYC.
Photo via That's
by Penny Starr," Pro-life activist Alveda King on Friday called the removal of a pro-life billboard in Manhattan "an outrageous act of censorship." The billboard showed a black girl along with the statement, “The most dangerous place for an African American is in the womb.”
“This billboard should be posted in every city of the country," King said.

The billboard's message follows a report released last month by the New York City Department of Health that revealed an abortion rate of 41 percent of all pregnancies in the city in 2009 -- with 59.8 percent of those involving African-American women.
“The message of this billboard is totally accurate,” King said in a statement issued by Priests for Life where she is the director of African-American Outreach. “The most dangerous place for an African-American is in the womb!”

She added: “And it should provoke outrage in the African-American community—not because it is racist, but because of the truth it reveals; the truth that is being kept from the African-American community.”

The billboard message was a project of, which paid for the message as part of its LifeAlways project.

“There is a battle being waged in the United States that has taken more lives than any foreign war or act of terrorism,” the Web site states about the project. “The enemy is abortion.

“Its supporters include the main stream media, liberal representatives in government, and Planned Parenthood, the country's largest abortion provider,” the statement says.

Dr. Alveda King
Dr. Alveda King
CNN reported on Friday that Lamar Advertising, which owns the billboard, decided to take down the message after people who opposed it threatened workers in the building located next to the billboard.

The Rev. Al Sharpton had reportedly planned a protest at the site of the billboard on Saturday and pro-abortions groups had also complained about the pro-life message.
Mary Alice Carr, vice president of communications for NARAL Pro-Choice New York, said in a statement that the billboard was “attacking women for choosing abortion while simultaneously destroying family planning.”

But King said the billboard should have provoked a different kind of outrage.
“Black people in New York and all over the country should be outraged at the numbers of black babies we lose every single day to abortion,” King said. “An astonishing 60 percent of African-American pregnancies in the five boroughs of New York City end in abortion. “That’s unfathomable,” King said.

‘Bunnies in a blender’ anti-Planned Parenthood ad

H/T ARRA News Service - A 30-second TV ad spot put out by American Life League features a cute bunny being plopped into a blender with the provocative tagline: “Imagine the government giving hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars every year to a company that does this . . .

Consider that recent polls show that more than half of all Americans believe that abortion is murder so why would our government consider funding the top abortion provider in America in the first place? Planned Parenthood committed over 332,000 abortions in 2009. It's time to stop tax-payer funding of America's largest abortion chain.

Facts about Planned Parenthood:
1) Planned Parenthood runs the largest abortion chain in the nation. According to its annual reports, Planned Parenthood has ended each fiscal year since 1987 with a profit. In 2009, its profit was $63.4 million. That same year, it reported receiving $363.2 million from government grants and programs.

2) Planned Parenthood's business model is, indeed, abortion-centered—though it claims abortion is only  3 percent of its business. In reality, abortion generates 40.6 percent of Planned Parenthood's clinic income. According to Abby Johnson, a former Planned Parenthood director who became pro-life, the organization imposes abortion quotas on its clinics. Furthermore, over the next two years, Planned Parenthood will require every affiliate to have at least one clinic that offers abortions.

3) Planned Parenthood employees have been caught repeatedly on video encouraging young people and their abusers to withhold information about their age and the age of their sexual partners so that it’s possible to avoid the mandatory reporting to law enforcement. Recently, Planned Parenthood staff members were caught on video collaborating with self-identified sex traffickers of young girls and coaching them on ways to profit off of these girls in the weeks following an abortion.

4) Planned Parenthood has been given billions in tax dollars, yet it lacks accountability for this money. A report from the Government Accountability Office gleaned from Planned Parenthood's Single Audit Act reports show that Planned Parenthood failed to account for $1.3 billion dollars in government funding received between the years 2002-2008.

5) Planned Parenthood has been charged with overbilling the government for Medicaid reimbursements in New Jersey, California, New York and Washington.

An organization capable of such atrocities and illegal activities should never receive funding from the government. It is imperative that you contact your Senators to tell them you will be watching their votes this week.
